Scott Hamman - Vice President of Human Resources
October 16, 2017
In July, Vista Prairie Communities began a search to place its first ever Vice President of Human Resources. The position will be critical to our ability to serve our mission of providing compassionate care in joy-filled environments. Engaging employees in our mission will be at the forefront of our strategic initiatives for years to come. We are happy to announce that we have hired Scott Hamman as our new Vice President of Human Resources.
Scott is a seasoned leader in Human Resources, working almost his entire career in different healthcare environments where he has developed a collaborative approach to developing innovative employee engagement processes. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Luther College, and a Master’s Degree from St. Mary’s University, both in Management and Health and Human Services Administration. We know he will continue to use his vast resources and innovative ideas to guarantee successful organization transformations, as well as ensure all Human Resources programs and practices align with our mission and business strategies. Before starting at Vista Prairie Communities, Scott served as the Director of Human Resources and as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Diversity at Allina Health for more than 9 years.
Scott’s role will primarily focus on our Human Resources employment brand, providing internal strategy, support and planning. He will be collaborating closely with Jim Bettendorf, our President & CEO, and our Senior Leadership Team, to make key decisions and drive employee engagement for more than 500 Vista Prairie employees.
We are beyond excited for Scott to begin his role at Vista Prairie Communities and we can’t wait to see how his expertise and leadership will drive our mission engagement throughout our services. Scott will begin his role on October 23rd, 2017, and will office at our Hopkins Support Office.
