Vista Prairie Communities held our Annual Meeting last week. We gathered organizational leaders from several operational areas of Vista Prairie Communities at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West hotel to learn and network.
Our leaders used this time for team building exercises, new learning workshops and affirming the mission and values of Vista Prairie Communities.
Take a look as we walk through the day with you below!
The day started with breakfast, opening remarks and our leadership keynote address – “Managerial Courage” by Jack Mateffy from Mateffy & Company.
The morning lead into our breakout sessions which ranged from our Culinary Breakout which discussed the new food code updates to the Activity/Memory Care Breakout which discussed supporting the activity needs of today’s seniors.
In addition, we held general sessions about information technology and performance management. Finally, we had some fun! Who said playing with your food is bad? Our leaders worked together to make unique creations out of food. The first day ended with dinner sponsored by New Horizons Foods.
The rest of the day was spent in additional trainings for our leaders from Eldermark training to discussions about the state of the senior living industry.
The day ended with people’s concluding thoughts and any feedback they had for Vista Prairie communities.
Our Annual Meeting was filled with learning, team building and networking for our Vista Prairie Community leaders. We are proud of our employees and the passion they show in carrying out our mission and values to all that we serve.
