Vista Prairie Communities Hires Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Meet the Team: Kim Webster, Vista Prairie Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Earlier this year Vista Prairie Communities began a search to fill the newly created position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. The position will be critical to our ability to serve our mission of providing compassionate care in joy-filled environments. Exceptional care for residents within our communities will be at the forefront of our strategic initiatives for years to come. We are happy to announce that we have hired Kim Webster as our new Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Kim has over 35 years of experience in the senior health services field, bringing a wide breadth of experience and knowledge to Vista Prairie Communities. Kim has focused her career in a variety of senior healthcare environments, including work as a hospital discharge planner, nursing home social worker (in Minnesota and North Dakota), several Assisted Living Executive Director positions, Director of a Home Health and Hospice Agency, Vice President of Healthcare for A’viands Foodservice, and most recently as the Regional Executive Director of Senior Living for StuartCo.

Kim also worked for LeadingAge Minnesota and assisted in the development of Quality First and Confident Choices in Senior Housing programs. She has been deeply involved in industry improvement initiatives including the initial development of the Housing with Services rules, serving on the Board of Directors at LeadingAge, serving on the Housing Leadership Council at LeadingAge, Faculty for Housing-With-Services housing manager certificate program, Past Vice-Chair of original Confident Choices in Senior Living committee for LeadingAge Minnesota. Additionally, Kim is currently Chair – Elect for Leading Age District G, a member of Assisted Living/Home Care LeadingAge Committee, Board Member for Our Lady of Peace Hospice, and is a certified hospice volunteer.

Kim will begin her role on April 5, 2017.
