CULTURE
Halfway through Fiscal Year 2022, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal published our answers to two questions:
With the challenges and turmoil of the past year, what’s been a bright spot for your organization?
The strength of our culture is an enduring source of inspiration through all this. We also have developed a centralized recruiting resource to attract new, qualified staff members to become part of our culture.
What was a key takeaway from the past year that will guide your organization in the future?
This pandemic has people across all fields asking themselves, “Why do I do what I do?” I think we come back to work every day because of each other. The loyalty we feel for our teams and the people we serve is evident everywhere I look in our organization. A career in service to others is honorable and fulfilling. Thank you to our incredible caregivers for answering your call to serve others!
As the pandemic winds down, those comments are truer than ever. And that’s why we dedicate this report to our staff, nearly 450 people at nine sites in four states. Our cover features staff and residents from our community in Willmar, Vista Prairie at Copperleaf, as they celebrate being voted Best in Eldercare Service this year.
The next page features our Inclusive Culture Statement, adopted this year by the Board of Directors as a declaration of our commitment to inclusion. We believe in belonging, for all our staff and for all our residents, throughout the organization.
Finally, we thank our donors, who have generously supported our mission and the values we hold so dear. Please consider a charitable donation and thanks for your support!
